ABOUT

I am currently seeking representation for my debut novel, a hopeful story of lost magic and found family that follows a Ph.D. student in magical history struggling to prove she belongs in her tarot-inspired world.

I hold an M.A. in English from Indiana University where I taught undergraduate writing courses for three years. I currently work as an academic editor and writing coach for graduate students in fields including anthropology, history, education, psychology, and more. As a freelance marketing content writer, I've worked with clients in wellness, higher education, and healthcare. I’m also a yoga and meditation teacher. My guided meditations can be found on Insight Timer.

I'm an active member of several writing and critique groups and have enjoyed a transformative one-week funded residency at The Hundredth Hill Artist Retreat. I love learning about the craft of writing and the business of publishing via books, podcasts, newsletters, and conferences. I've taken classes at the Loft Literary Center and participated in several years of writing circles through the non-profit organization Women Writing for (a) Change.

I currently live in the twin cities with my partner and two rescue dogs. I love to swim, bike, and make all kinds of art with friends.
