ABOUT
I am a writer, teacher, editor, and mixed-media artist based in Minneapolis. I love to connect with my community through art, yoga, meditation, writing, and movement.
I hold an M.A. in English from Indiana University where I taught undergraduate writing courses. I currently work as an academic editor and writing coach for graduate students and early-career academics in fields including anthropology, history, education, psychology, and more.
I am currently working on my second novel (a sapphic love story) while seeking representation for my debut novel, a hopeful story of lost magic and found family that follows a Ph.D. student in magical history.
I'm an active member of several writing and critique groups and have enjoyed a transformative one-week funded residency at The Hundredth Hill Artist Retreat. I've taken classes at the Loft Literary Center and participated in several years of writing circles through the non-profit organization Women Writing for (a) Change.
I live with my partner and beloved beagle-mix. I love to bike, swim, and make art that focuses on the pleasure of process.
