ABOUT

I am a writer, teacher, and mixed-media artist based in Minneapolis. I love to connect with my community through art, yoga, meditation, writing, and movement.

I am currently working on my second novel (a sapphic love story) while seeking representation for my debut novel, a hopeful story of lost magic and found family that follows a Ph.D. student in magical history.

I hold an M.A. in English from Indiana University where I taught undergraduate writing courses for three years. I currently work as an academic editor and writing coach for graduate students in fields including anthropology, history, education, psychology, and more.

I'm an active member of several writing and critique groups and have enjoyed a transformative one-week funded residency at The Hundredth Hill Artist Retreat. I've taken classes at the Loft Literary Center and participated in several years of writing circles through the non-profit organization Women Writing for (a) Change.

I live with my partner and beloved beagle-mix. I love to bike, swim, and make art that focuses on the pleasure of process.
